NBA Week 24 Tips

Though it’s hard to believe, we have already reached the final week and a half of the 2015-16 NBA season. While it will be tough to see 14 of the Association’s worst teams bow out, the excitement of the playoffs makes it all worth it. That being said, fantasy basketball betting will continue through June and that means that you’ll have more opportunities to make some money. Get started on all the upcoming contests with these tips for NBA Week 24.

Goran Dragic

Miami Heat point guard Goran Dragic has simply been dominant in the second half of this season, heating up in March in a big way and carrying that success through to April. He’s one of the most balanced floor generals in the league, and his stat lines are usually eye-popping. With 28+ DFS points in four of his last five games, the Dragon has shown remarkable consistency – an essential trait for any elite fantasy basketball player looking to nicely round out their rosters. The Heat are already locked in for the playoffs and look like the only team in the Eastern Conference who could truly compete with the Cavaliers, so Dragic has a long postseason ahead of him – perfect for any DFS action this summer. His $6,700 price tag on FanDuel and $6,800 DraftKings makes him one an elite pick for your lineup in Week 24.

Nikola Mirotic

Though his Bulls might miss the postseason this year, Nikola Mirotic is doing everything he can to make sure that doesn’t happen. The three-point sniper’s jumper has been dropping this month, and he’s a scoring threat whenever he steps on the floor. He’s scored 30 or more DFS points in four of his last five games, and he shouldn’t slow down anytime soon. His starting role is inconsistent at best due to an injury to Taj Gibson and fluctuating minutes for rookie Bobby Portis, but his playing time remains the same. He’s only $5,300 on FanDuel and $5,500 on DraftKings, though it would be wise to avoid him when he faces an elite defensive opponent. Regardless, Mirotic is a highly underrated forward and a solid pickup considering his price tag.

Tyson Chandler

Tyson Chandler’s season overall has been a massive disappointment, but his play over the last two weeks suggests that a turnaround may be in store for the big man next season. Because of his injury woes and the struggles of his Phoenix Suns teammates, Chandler has not excelled on his new team. However, he’s scored 29 or more DFS points in four straight games and his minutes are up more than ever. The Suns only have a couple more games left on their schedule, but at $5,400 on FanDuel and $5,000 on DraftKings Chandler is a fantastic selection for the center spot. Pick him up now before the Suns go on summer break.
